ABSTRACT This diploma thesis deals with the attitude of students to alternative nutritional guidelines. The focus of this thesis is to analyse the interest of students in alternative nutritional guidelines. Theoretical part analyzes the literature, contains definition of target group, high school students (adolescents) with the main characteristics of this age period. Subsequently the thesis focuses on the impact and importance of nutrition on health of individuals during their development in adolescence and focuses on attitudes to food itself, the relationship to adolescent physical dimensions (body image) and also to issues related to these themes, ie. eating disorders. This thesis is also concerned with the general characteristics of alternative dietary guidelines, such as vegetarianism, macrobiotic diet and divided meals diet. Diana Chrpová, Ph.D. Title of bachelor thesis: Alternative eating habbits and thein perception by people agend 18-27 Abstract The bachelor thesis is focused on alternative diets and their perception among young people aged between 18-27. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. In the beginning of the theoretical part, it presents basic components of nutrition that rational diet should contain, and each component is described individually. The Main section of the theoretical part consists of setting the definition of alternative ways of eating habits and each alternative eating habit is briefly described. In addition to the general information, it also lists their positive or negative health aspects. The practical part was prepared using an anonymous survey. The respondents were questioned not only about their knowledge and experience with alternative diets but also about their relationship with nutrition. The obtained data is graphically presented by pie chart followed by subsequent commentary. Relation of adolescents to alternative ways of alimentation

The bachelor's thesis focuses on problems of alternative ways of alimentation. In the theoretical part the term alternative ways of alimentation is defined and briefly particular alternative alimentation is characterized. It treats also about problems of evolution in teenage, particularly about a relation of adolescents to alimentation. The practical part of the thesis describes a research which testified the relation of adolescents to alternative ways of alimentation. The research was focused on survey if students of chosen schools are interested in issues of alternative ways of alimentation, if they eat alternatively and why. The questionnaire was used to achieve the data. The results of the realized questionnaire research prove the interest of teenagers in alternative ways of alimentation, but most of the responders in the questionnaire said that they do not eat alternatively.
